Burglary reported on Stone School Road in Ann Arbor

Ann Arbor police are investigating a burglary reported Sunday in the 2100 block of Stone School Road on the city's south side.
A 53-year-old woman returned home about 7:30 p.m. to find that a computer, cash and DVDs had been taken after someone entered through an unlocked basement window, police spokeswoman Lt. Renee Bush said.
The value of what was stolen was estimated at $2,300, Bush said.

I don't have a basement at this point in my life, When I did back in the 70's I had several windows but they were to small for anyone to crawl into. (there was no way to lock them or un-lock them) There has been a lot of glass smashing going on here lately, so I don't think it would have mattered to the bugular whether it was locked or not. I have 2 different lengths of steel rods that I place in my patio slideing glass doors. (of course the glass can be broken) I also make it a habit not to leave rakes, shovels, or anything out to make it easy for the bugular. This is high value of items taken. I hope this person is caught and the items returned.

Since the map link shows 2100 Stone School Road as actually being on Packard... Maybe it's actually 2100 block of Stone School Circle which is off Stone School Rd. South of I94 ???

According to the Crime Alert I received today, you are correct. It was on Stone School Circle, not Stone School Road as reported in this story.
