Ypsilanti police are investigating a car break-in reported Monday in the 100 block of Perrin Street, a police incident log said.

Two empty purses, a jacket and $300 were taken after the front passenger side window of a 2009 Ford Focus was broken, the log said.

The incident occurred between 8 p.m. Sunday and 3 p.m. Monday, according to the log.
