Car break-in under investigation on North Summit Street in Ypsilanti

Ypsilanti police are investigating a car break-in reported this morning on North Summit Street, a police incident log said.
A rock was thrown through the car's passenger side window in the street's 100 block, and a purse was stolen. It contained $200 cash, a debit card and check stubs, the log said.
The incident was reported at 1:12 a.m. Neighbors told police they heard a noise about 30 minutes earlier, according to the log.
