I grew up on South Boulevard during the 1970s and 80s. This kind of thing never happened then. Sign of the times. I heard today on NPR that crime in A2 is up and the top two cities for violent crime in the nation are Flint (#1) and Detroit (#2). Terrible and shameful. It doesn't matter what type of car it is or its value--it's a crime. My personalized license plate was stolen a couple of years ago. If it's not nailed down, some douche bag will take it. That's the world we live in now.

The real value is the 2.3 cents per pound for salvage iron.

In case I want to go out looking for it, did the owner have any idea what the plate number was?
