A car was stolen sometime overnight Monday in the 300 block of East Clark Road in Ypsilanti Township, a Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department media summary said.

A white 1983 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with large chrome rims and a sticker in the rear window that says "Powered by Haters" was taken between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 4 a.m. Tuesday, the summary said.

According to the summary, stereo equipment and a wallet were inside the car. Deputies responded to a report of the theft at 12:09 p.m. Tuesday.
