Catalytic converters stolen from two cars in Ypsilanti
Catalytic converters were reported stolen Sunday from two cars in Ypsilanti, a crime summary said.
At 9:40 a.m., someone reported that a catalytic converter was taken during the night from a car in the 10 block of North Huron Street, the summary said.
At 11 a.m., someone reported that a catalytic converter was taken during the night from a car in the 500 block of West Forest Avenue, the summary said. Police do not have any suspects.

Just for kicks ask your dealer how much it cost to replace your converter and you will see why there is a black market for them.

It's an expensive part, like air bags. They also contain platinum
