Church rectory burglarized, Ann Arbor police say
The rectory at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church was burglarized on Sunday, Ann Arbor police spokeswoman Lt. Renee Bush said.
Someone entered the rectory on Frieze Avenue through a basement window and stole three laptop computers, three televisions, a phone and some luggage, Bush said.
The break-in occurred between 10:45 a.m. and 12:20 p.m., Bush said. Police did not have an estimated value of the stolen items.
Anyone with information can call the police department's tip line at (734) 794-6939.

I notice the burglary took place during Sunday morning services, of all times.

Seems as GPS is as tiny and simple as a SIM card in a phone, that devices with value could easily be tracked with inexpensive hardware. Construction equipment, laptops, TV's, Of course someone has to do the tracking and that is where the expense comes in. New technologies hopefully will make this type of B&E not worthwhile in the near future.
