By Kyle Feldscher

Ann Arbor police are investigating the theft of collectible bills during a burglary at an Ann Arbor antique shop Wednesday evening.

Ann Arbor police Lt. Renee Bush said police responded at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday to Antelope Antiques, 255 E. Liberty St., after being notified of the intrusion by an alarm. Bush said a man forced his way into the business and stole an unknown amount of collectible bills.

Antelope Antiques did have security cameras at the store and Ann Arbor police detectives are reviewing footage, Bush said.

Anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to call the Ann Arbor police anonymous tip line at 734-794-6939 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP (773-2587).
