Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies continue to investigate a shooting Saturday night in the 1000 block of McCarthy Court in Ypsilanti Township, deputies said.

A man was shot in the arm at about 7:15 p.m. and was taken to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, a sheriff's department media summary said.

Deputies say the victim knows the shooter, but is not cooperating with the investigation. Sheriff's spokesman Derrick Jackson could not be reached for comment this afternoon.
