Deputies investigate arson of truck in Ypsilanti Township

By Lee Higgins

A truck stolen from Garden City was set on fire early Sunday near the intersection of Woodale Avenue and Coolidge Road in Ypsilanti Township, Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies said.

Firefighters responded to the 12:05 a.m. blaze and extinguished it, sheriff's department spokesman Sgt. David Archer said.

The owner of the truck wasn't aware it was missing and had no idea why anyone would take it, Archer said.

Deputies do not have any suspects.

Perhaps removed, but I still think this story is fishy!
