Deputies investigate daylight break-ins
Washtenaw County sheriff’s deputies are investigating two daylight home break-ins in which thieves stole cash and other items Wednesday.
The first occurred between noon and 3 p.m. in the 2100 block of Bradley Street in Ypsilanti Township. Someone entered the home through a rear window and stole cash, bracelets, necklaces and several rings, sheriff’s deputies said in a media summary.
The second occurred between 4 and 7 p.m. in the 1700 block of Knollwood Bend in Superior Township. Someone forced open a rear door and stole cash and several food items, deputies said.
No suspects have been identified in either break-in.
