Deputies investigating report of woman stabbing neighbor in the face

By Kyle Feldscher

Police and medical services responded to the 9000 block of MacArthur Boulevard in Superior Township for a report of a resident being stabbed in the face by a neighbor.

Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Derrick Jackson confirmed deputies were heading to the area after a report of a woman stabbing her neighbor in the face.

Jackson said the two women got into an altercation when one of the women stabbed the other in the face with a kitchen knife.

Police arrested a 24-year-old Superior Township woman and lodged her at the Washtenaw County Jail, Jackson said.

The victim was the initial caller to police, Jackson said. She was alert and conscious, he said, but the full extent of the injuries were not immediately available.
