Detectives search Ann Arbor home and recover property believed to be stolen
Ann Arbor police detectives searched a home this morning in the 400 block of West Huron Street and recovered thousands of dollars in bicycles, tools and other items that are believed to have been stolen, Lt. Mark St. Amour said.
Detectives interviewed a man who consented to the search and released him as the investigation continues, St. Amour said.
Investigators were led to the home after receiving information about "possible stolen items," but St. Amour declined to be more specific.
So far, no arrests have been made.

My daughter lost three bike from in front of her mobile home, during the daylight hours. My grandson's bike was taken after he went in to eat lunch. I wonder where, or who, she can contact to see if one or more of their bikes are there?

I had a great view of this whole event while working out at the YMCA. I was thinking this was a drug raid when I saw it. Especially when police in full face masks went in...

The 400 block is right at the railroad overpass next to the homeless shelter.

I love dumb criminals. Especially when they give the police a rope and point them to a tree to hang themselves with.

My son's Bianchi bike was recently stolen...maybe worth a trip to the police impound and see if it is there.
