Detroit men charged in incident that caused Amber Alert last week
Two men have been charged in an incident that prompted an Amber Alert for a 4-month-old girl in Detroit last week, according to media reports.
Jeremy Phillips and Gregory Walker, both of Detroit, are accused of shooting at people inside a home in Detroit Wednesday. A man was shot multiple times and a dog killed during the incident, according to a Detroit Free Press report.
Police told Click on Detroit the incident occurred after Phillips, 19, argued with his daughter's mother. He then fled the area with the baby, and an Amber Alert was issued. It was canceled when Phillips was found with the baby at an Ypsilanti Township home.
Phillips is charged with assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to do great bodily harm, felonious assault, carrying a concealed weapon, discharging a weapon in a building, animal killing, child abuse in the fourth degree and felony firearm, according to the reports.
Walker, 18, is charged with three counts of assault with intent to murder, three counts of assault with intent to do great bodily harm, three counts of felonious assault. He also faces one count of carrying a concealed weapon, discharging a weapon in a building and felony firearm, the reports said.

I am only happy that these men ended up in Ypsilanti, because the baby was found safe. OK, they have been charged, now we need to make sure they spend many years locked up.
