Dexter woman takes plea deal in summer burglary spree
A Dexter woman charged in a series of burglaries at homes and businesses in western Washtenaw County entered into a plea deal with prosecutors.
Court records show Tera Bowman, 26, pleaded guilty as charged to second-degree home invasion in five separate cases at a recent pre-trial conference. Her trial was scheduled later this month.

She remains free on a personal bond pending sentencing on March 10.
Authorities said she and a male accomplice burglarized a Scio Township business before breaking into a Webster Township home on May 12. Police said she also broke into two different homes in Scio Township late that week. Jewelry, electronics and other personal items were taken.
Investigators tracked Bowman down upon discovering the sale of roughly $7,000 worth of alleged stolen property at a local pawn shop. Charges are pending against the male accomplice, officials said.
David Goldstein, Bowman’s attorney, declined to comment.
