Drunken driver arrested after picking up prostitute in Ypsilanti, police say
Ypsilanti police say they arrested a drunken driver Monday morning, shortly after he picked up a suspected prostitute on East Michigan Avenue.
The 48-year-old man was pulled over in the 100 block of South Grove Street at 12:24 a.m. after he picked up a 21-year-old Ypsilanti Township man near the intersection of East Michigan Avenue and Miles Street, police said.
After being stopped, the driver got out of his car and walked away, while the suspected prostitute crouched down in the passenger seat, Det. Sgt. Troy Fulton said.
Officers caught up with the driver and arrested him. A DataMaster breath test showed his blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit, Fulton said. In addition, the driver had a suspended license and there was no license plate on the car, police said.
The passenger, who had several outstanding misdemeanor warrants, also was arrested, Fulton said.

but where was this man from? Seems like anytime a man from ypsilanti or the township gets caught doing something bad somewhere else, all we see is "ypsilanti man" this and that with only a brief mention of the location. If something happens in ypsilanti there is no mention of where that person is from, just a focus on where it happened.

Great Job Ypsilanti Police!! Clean up Ypsilanti, but you may still be accused of slamming Ypsilanti. Slamming only goes where it is deserved. (as I see it). Get these dumber than dumb off the streets.
