Firecracker used to damage vehicle in Ypsilanti

An Ypsilanti-area resident got a nasty surprise Friday morning when he discovered someone had detonated an M-80 firecracker in the front grille area of his vehicle.
The incident occurred in the 700 block of Stanley Street in Ypsilanti. The resident reported the damage to Ypsilanti Police about 3:40 a.m. Friday.
Police have no suspects. No further information was available.
