Handgun, TV and jewelry among stolen items from Ann Arbor Township home
A handgun, TV, jewelry and other items were stolen from an Ann Arbor Township home sometime during the daytime hours Saturday, according to deputies.
Investigators responded to the 3800 of Warren Road on Saturday after the break-in was reported. According to deputies, a rear window was the point of entry.
Deputies said a TV, laptop computer, credit cards, miscellaneous jewelry and a 9-mm handgun were stolen from the home.
There are no suspects at this point and deputies are asking anyone with information on the incident to call the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office anonymous tip line at 734-973-7711 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP (773-2587).

Same person who, less than a week ago, burglarized a home one block north of this one, west of the Joy and Earhart intersection, or a copycat? The houses are newer near the Warren intersection.

It is always nice to know that criminals can always get guns from "responsible" gun owners just like that kid did that shot 20 kids.

When gun owners store their guns irresponsibly guns end up in the hands of criminals. Get a safe! Lock em up! Gun owners whose guns are stolen from an insecure location should be charged with a crime.

I believe the guns were locked up, in his house.
