Handguns, computers and jewelry stolen in burglary

Two handguns were reported stolen Friday in a burglary of a condominium at The Pointe at Island Lake in Ypsilanti Township, the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Department said.

Also stolen were several computers, a 52-inch plasma television, an Xbox game system, a safe, three cell phones and jewelry. Entry was through the front door of the home in the 9400 block of Lakeside Drive, according to a sheriff’s department summary sheet.

Looks like this burglar just got a big promotion to armed assailant. Thanks to this homeowners need to buy a handgun we are all less safe. And on, and on, and on it goes.

sounds like somebody just finished up their Christmas shoplifting early...hope the weapons are found...too bad there wasn't a gun safe for the weapons...
