Man arrested after reported sexual assault in Ann Arbor

A 22-year-old man was arrested Monday night, suspected of sexually assaulting a woman he knows in the 300 block of Maynard Street, Ann Arbor police said.
Police are releasing few details, but said the assault happened at about 5 p.m. Monday in a public place.
Police spokeswoman Lt. Renee Bush said the man was arrested blocks from the scene. He was taken to the Washtenaw County Jail, where he is expected to be arraigned Wednesday on criminal charges. Bush said detectives continue to investigate.
