A man swung a knife at a man and cut his neck during an apparent road rage incident Saturday morning in Ypsilanti Township, Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies said.

The victim was treated for non life-threatening injuries after the 10 a.m. incident in the 500 block of Eugene Avenue, a sheriff's department media summary said.

So far, no arrests have been made and investigators have not identified the man believed to be responsible.

According to the summary, deputies found the victim after responding to a report that several people were fighting in the street.

The victim told investigators that he was confronted by a man during a road rage incident. He said the man pulled a knife from his pocket and swung it at him, cutting him in the neck, the summary said.

Sheriff's department spokesman Derrick Jackson could not immediately be reached for comment this afternoon.
