Man in critical condition after being shot in Ypsilanti Township parking lot
A 48-year-old Livingston County man remains in critical condition after being shot early Sunday morning at a small apartment complex in Ypsilanti Township.
Police were dispatched to Riley Court Apartments at the 2500 block of East Michigan Avenue around 2:30 a.m. for the shooting.
According to Sgt. Geoff Fox of the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office, the 48-year-old came to the apartment complex with two other men for “unknown reasons.”
“They went to one (of the apartment units) for a brief period of time and then got separated,” Fox said.
Some of the men stayed in the apartment unit while others went out into the parking lot.
The men who came with the 48-year-old then heard gunshots. They found the 48-year-old man lying on the ground in the parking lot, and they put him into their car and drove him to St. Josephs Mercy Hospital.
The 48-year-old went into surgery and is currently in critical condition, according to police.
The sheriff’s office continues to investigate.

Logically, your statement works down to "too many wrong hands" - which is true. (Notice the 2nd "o" in "too." )
