Man steals jewelry and cash from women who invited him home, Ann Arbor police say
Two women say a man they invited home on New Year's Eve after meeting him at an Ann Arbor bar stole many of their belongings overnight, Ann Arbor police said.
The women woke up Saturday morning to find the man had left, and a Blackberry, cell phone, camera, laptop computer, jewelry, cash, gift cards and other items were missing, police spokeswoman Lt. Renee Bush said.
The victims, who live in in the 900 block of Greenwood Avenue, noticed the items were missing at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. According to police, the man was described as white, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 22 years old. He was wearing a purple shirt, police said.
Anyone with information can call the police department's tip line at (734) 794-6939.

Didn't their mothers ever warn them about this kind of behavior? My first reaction to this story was "Well, Duh!!!"
