hmmmm.... my husband, got punched in the face there on saturday and had to go to the hospital... the cops always sit outside this place.... and for good reason. He was having a conversation with someone and I guess the guy didn't like his political views, so naturally, you send someone who disagrees with you, to the hospital. And we would press charges, except my husband didn't know the guy who lashed out at him.

Talking with someone long enough to get punched and doesn't know his name ? Sounds fishy to me.

Proving again that being anywhere east of the fictional "Midtown" boundary after midnight is asking for trouble.

Sometimes, I bump into people. I have found that an actual apology to the person I ran into, where I really mean it, tends to defuse any situations where that person might be compelled to strike me in the face with a glass.

Not blaming you Kyle but that is the worst suspect description I have ever seen. How can anyone other than a carnival barker look at someone and tell what their age is just by a physical appearance? "Bush said the suspect is described as approximately 21 years old." What??

It's very vague, isn't it. I was hesitant to even include it, but figured some description was better than no description.

I didn't think people went to Skeeps anymore after they turned 21... Hmm

Great article, way to smear the name of a local business when it is clear that nothing is going to come of this.

Kyle - you and the Ann Arbor News know full well what such articles do. Cases in point: 5th Quarter and Studio/Dream. Both places shut down and don't tell me it has nothing to do with sensationalist articles like these.

Right smith!! it never happened, never happens... one fight should not detour people from going out and having a good time , a fight could happen anywhere.

Matt- Readers often ask the establishments where incidents like this take place. I'm not implicating Scorekeepers in anything, that's merely the place where it happened.

Smear? It's simply reporting where it happened. Every bar has this happen from time to time. I highly doubt anyone will change their evening plans just because there was a fight the night before...
