Masked men tie up workers, rob cash advance store
Two masked men tied up employees and ransacked a cash advance store in Ypsilanti Township Friday evening, police said.
The robbers, one of them carrying a black handgun, entered Approved Cash Advance at 950 Ecorse Road about 6 p.m., according to a Washtenaw County Sheriff’s incident summary.
The men, both wearing camouflage bandanas and tan winter coats, tied up two employees and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
The robbers left in a black sedan, possibly with two gray racing stripes on the hood, the sheriff’s department said.
The first robber was described as black, with a light complexion, about five feet 9, and of medium build. The second robber was described as black, 6 foot 4, and thin.

Looks like Ypsi has become a suburb of Detroit. It's like Mad Max out there. The economy will only make it worse.

Ironic. Usually it's these check advance stores doing the robbing.
