More than 600 people attended Paul DeWolf’s funeral in Portage Monday, which included a moving tribute from his sister who played songs he taught her on the piano, according to a report on MLive.

The Kalamazoo Gazette reported family and friends remembered DeWolf at a ceremony at Berean Baptist Church. His sister, Rebekah DeWolf, played the theme song from the TV show The Office as a tribute, a song she said Paul taught her.

DeWolf was found dead in his room at the Phi Rho Sigma medical fraternity in Ann Arbor last week. Police are investigating his death as a homicide.

Wow. 600? I hate to see that funeral car procession. Portage is a small town so closing it for a day would be no problem. He was really liked. Hope they get the killer soon. Kind of scary AAPD have not caught their man yet.

I can't imagine losing a child. There are no words. RIP Paul. Prayers to his family and friends.

There was an article just recently a mom lost both of her children within months of eachother. Sad to say it, but it happens.

Couldn't have said it better. I have 3 daughters and don't know how I would cope if I lost any of them. Deepest sympathy to the family and friends.
