Actually, this is about the seventh theft like this since April. Click that "auto theft" tag. They range from 1992 to 2010. All parked in front or in the driveway, and most of them definitely locked. - two-door red 1995 Acura Integra GSR was taken between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m - tan 1996 Ford van was reported stolen at 1:30 p.m - white 1992 Ford Tempo was stolen from a driveway in the afternoon - red 2000 Oldsmobile Alero was taken between 3 a.m. and 10:30 a.m parked in front of a home - red four-door 1993 Ford Escort was last seen parked on the victim's property - silver 2010 Acura RDX taken between 6 p.m. Monday and 7:45 a.m from a driveway - black 2008 Ford truck taken between 10am and noon from a driveway Looks like professionals taking the cars/trucks away. The last one supposedly had an engine disabling chip, which means the thieves are probably using a tow truck for at least some of the thefts.

Second locked vehicle stolen from a residence in as many days. I wonder if they are related? A thief who can steal a locked car is not nearly as common as the meth-head who wanders by and finds the keys in the ignition.
