Pittsfield Township police take 3 more reports of graffiti

Pittsfield Township police say a recent spate of graffiti-related incidents is continuing.
Three additional cases were reported last week, which follows seven similar cases the week before, police said.
The incidents have all occurred in the Lohr/Oak Valley area and the Textile/Crane road area.
Among last week's incidents:
- Jan. 26: 5400 block of Crane Road. Resident reported someone spray painted the side of her barn.
- Jan. 27: 4300 block of Textile Road. Management reported someone spray painted the side of the building.
- Jan. 30: 3600 block of Ranchero Drive. Graffiti was spray painted on a Dumpster. A possible suspect was observed in the area, but officers did not find anyone there.

Its wonderful to see are youth embracing ART! Maybe we should create a State and Federal program to support these unknown artists! (its a joke but in Ann Arbor they might think I am serious)

I would think (not to many people) are buying spray paint at this time of the year. It would be nice if cashiers would pay more attention to who they are selling to, and perhaps be able to note a description for police. Just a thought.
