Police are investigating the theft of air conditioning units at businesses in the 6500 block of Jackson Avenue of Scio Township reported Tuesday.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office received two different calls about units being stolen from businesses in that area, according to a news release.

"In both cases the units were taken overnight from an outside location and the power was cut to the units prior to them being removed," the release stated.

There are no suspects at this time. Police continue to investigate.
