Police: Ann Arbor man arrested after hitting victim with bottle

A 51-year-old man was arrested in Ann Arbor early Thursday morning after he was accused of throwing a bottle at a 57-year-old man, according to police.
The alleged assault occurred in the 100 block of East William Street at 12:20 a.m., Ann Arbor police said in a release.
The two men were arguing when the 51-year-old Ann Arbor man threw a glass bottle at the 57-year-old, striking him on the back.
The 51-year-old was subsequently arrested. The victim had a red mark on his back, but declined medical attention.
Police continue to investigate.
