The 56-year-old immediately went outside to smoke a cigarette, Lt. Renee Bush said. The man claimed a minor physical altercation occurred when he returned to the viewing area.
“The suspect said the victim shoulder bumped him,” Bush said.
Then the 57-year-old man changed the channel on the television with the remote control, which angered the 56-year-old man. This led to a confrontation, police said.
“(The 56-year-old) thought the victim was going to push him, so he punched him once in the nose,” Bush said.
The 57-year-old, who suffered a small cut to the bridge of his nose, left the area and called 911. He refused medical treatment, police said.
No arrests have been made. The case has been turned over to detectives, Bush said. The men were previously acquainted with one another, she added.
Police were not sure what programs the men were arguing about.

Look, if he switched to "Keeping up with the Kardashians" or "Honey Boo Boo," I as a juror would vote not to convict. "Understandable provocation" and all that.

Personally, I don't think there is anything on TV worth getting that upset over. Especially so called "reality" shows.
