Police: Man breaks wrist after being shoved outside bar in Ann Arbor
A 19-year-old man told police he suffered a broken wrist when a bouncer outside a bar on Main Street in Ann Arbor shoved him Saturday morning, police said.
Ann Arbor police Lt. Renee Bush said the man and his friends were in the 300 block of South Main Street between 1:55 a.m. and 2:05 a.m. Saturday. Bush said the man was waiting with a group of friends on the sidewalk for another friend to come out of a bar.
One of the men in the group went up to a bar’s door and tried to open it but couldn’t because it was locked. The man told police he was shoved immediately afterward and fell into the street, Bush said.
The man saw a bouncer from one of the bars nearby, Bush said. He suffered a fractured wrist after the fall.
The man walked to the Ann Arbor police station and reported the incident at the front desk. The suspect is known to the man, Bush said.

Thank you editors! Much better but... "The man saw a bouncer from one of the bars nearby, Bush said. He suffered a fractured wrist after the fall." So the man with the broken wrist suspected the shover was the bouncer from the one of the bars nearby? Thus the shoving had nothing to do with the actual bar he was attempting to enter? "One of the men in the group went up to a bar's door and tried to open it but couldn't because it was locked." How come instead of "one of the men in the group" you don't say "The victim left his group and attempted to open the bar's door but it was locked."?

Actually djm, the bar you're referring to isn't in the 300 block of South Main. Try again.

OK I was going to comment on the clunky headline but then I read the article. 3 times. It's clunky and disjointed. I still don't have a good idea of who, what, where, when and why...
