It seems as if people just can’t keep their clothes on in Ann Arbor parks near the Huron River.

Ann Arbor police headed to Gallup Park to search for a man who was reportedly exposing himself to people Wednesday afternoon. At 12:45 p.m., police confirmed a phone report had been taken alerting police that someone was in the park exposing himself.

The report comes two days after a man between 60 and 80 years old was seen taking off his clothes and dancing by a group of women canoeing down the Huron River in Ann Arbor’s Furstenberg Nature Area.

Ann Arbor police Lt. Renee Bush couldn't be reached for more comment on Wednesday’s report, and police were still out responding to the call at about 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Police were initially not sure if the description of the man in the park on Wendesday matched the description of the man seen on Monday in Furstenberg.

Come back to AnnArbor.com for more details on this incident as they become available.

Anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to call the Ann Arbor police anonymous tip line at 734-794-6939.

I think the best way to deal with this situation is by pointing and laughing while yelling "Wow, It's so small!"

This behavior is not normal and this man could potentially be mentally ill. Let's cut him a break, lose the comedic aspect of nakedness, and try to get him some help. (also, Kyle, a typo on "Wendesday")

Would of liked a better description. Was he white? Black? What was he wearing? Did he run off? Ride off on a bike? etc. I spent my whole afternoon in Parker Mill/ Gallup Park today, and may have seen this man along the nature trails. We passed about 30 people, walking, and on bikes, as we walked from Parker Mill to Gallup.

Back in the 70's I saw Allen Ginsberg sitting naked in the Arb reading poetry. Nobody called the cops on him.

60 is not old, especially when you are in your 70's ):

"whooping and brandishing their privates at you in a malevolent fashion." How do you whoop your privates? That said, where in this article was there any mention of "whooping", "brandishing", or mention of the malevolence (or not) of his intent. Good heavens... I haven't heard nudity described like this since my great-grandmother talked about the time she went to the great ape exhibit at the zoo.

y'all need to carry some pepper spray. Liberal applications to the nether regions will certainly induce vigorous dancing...

We need to re-brand the park: "Good weather? Go naked in Gallup".

There's a difference between seeing a casual naked person lounging placidly by a river and seeing a naked person whooping and brandishing their privates at you in a malevolent fashion. We should find out which happened in this case before we dismiss it so lightly.

Was there a report of a helicopter sound? Was it not coming from the Medivac?

Probably was not a good dancer.

Thankfully, that's not a crime.

I suspect a cell phone with camera would have curbed this unwanted attention in a hurry.

the other local exhibitionists ( who have picketed a religious institution for years) love the negative reactions of those they harass...and boast/ post online the more negative they are. more direct means than mere cell phones are qui9te justified in such cases.

Exposing oneself to 2 people in a canoe crying "go away!" is a lot different than being exposed on the internet. Flashers get their jollies getting a rise (no pun intended) from their victims and not, say, their grandchildren.

why would an exhibitionist be deterred by even more exposure??

Big deal...a naked man in the park...seriously, are people so hung up about nudity they need to call police anytime someone flashes a little skin?

Tell that to a child. These men are creeps. This is gross, disturbed behavior.

Why are Americans so hung up on nudity? We are such prudes. In any other country this would be normal.

Yeah, the last time I was in Canada, everyone was just hanging out shaking their genitals around.

" In any other country this would be normal " sorry but that's stretching it a bit.Besides this isn't every other country it's here.( I do have to admit it's kinda funny )
