Police: Woman caught shoplifting kicked deputy, then ran
A woman assaulted a Washtenaw County sheriff’s deputy after she and another woman were caught trying to take things from a store, Ypsilanti Police said.
Two women went into the Dollar General Store at 50 Ecorse Road in Ypsilanti about 4:45 p.m. Friday and filled their purses with merchandise, then tried to leave, police said.
One woman was caught at the store. Sheriff’s deputies stopped the other woman, but she kicked a deputy and fled, police said. Deputies caught her in a building a short distance away, police said.
The investigation is continuing.

Sounds like she thought she was entitled to the stuff and was PO'd because they were trying to take "her things". No Deputy should be kicked or abused in any way. I hope they throw the book at her for assult and assulting an officer.

If you kick a deputy, you're gonna have a bad time.
