Ann Arbor police are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a man who stabbed another man on Monroe Street earlier this month and left him seriously injured.
Detectives have released a computer generated image of the man believed to be responsible and hope the public can help identify him.

It began as two men started vandalizing a car in a driveway, Ann Arbor police Det. Dave Monroe said. About five men yelled at them, police said. The two then got into a black car, believed to be a Ford Fusion, Monroe said.
Shortly after, Monroe said, a man got out of the passenger side of the car and fought with one of the five men, stabbing him repeatedly, mostly in the upper body. The victim, whose injuries included a punctured lung, has been released from the hospital and is recovering, Monroe said.
The man responsible for the stabbing was described as white, 19 or 20 years of age, and between 5 feet, 7 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He had a medium build and short hair, police said.
