The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an attempted burglary that occurred in Superior Township Tuesday.

Sheriff’s reports say deputies responded to an attempted break-in at a business in the 5000 block of Plymouth Road.

Reports say investigators discovered someone attempted to force open the business’ rear door but did not gain access. No items were reported stolen.

The department says no suspects have yet been identified.
