Sheriff's deputies seek suspect in home invasion attempt

Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies are looking for a man they say attempted to break into a home in Superior Township on Sunday.

Deputies went to the 9000 block of MacArthur Boulevard at 6:30 a.m. to investigate a report of a home invasion. Deputies determined someone had forced open the front door but was confronted by the homeowner and left.

Police are looking for a black man of unknown age about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slim build. He was las seen wearing a black baseball-style hat, a black ski mask, black jacket, dark blue jeans and black shoes.

9000 Block of MacArthur Blvd = The Public Housing Projects. This is where 95% of the crime reported on in Superior Twp. happens.

Good for the home owner, awake and waiting for the Easter Bunny, then confronted this man and he left. To many home owners don't get this chance.
