Shots fired at Ypsilanti Township home, deputies say

By Lee Higgins

Shots were fired Saturday morning at an occupied home in the 500 block of East Grand Boulevard in Ypsilanti Township, Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies said.

No one was injured in the 7:30 a.m. shooting, but the home was damaged, a sheriff's department media summary said.

Five rounds were fired from an unknown weapon, the summary said.

So far, deputies do not have any suspects. Sheriff's department spokesman Derrick Jackson could not immediately be reached for comment this morning.

Anyone with information can call the sheriff department's tip line at (734) 973-7711.
