A stereo, DVD player, iPod, speakers, laptop and other items were taken during a break-in Monday at a home on West Michigan Avenue, an Ypsilanti police incident log said.

Someone broke in through an unlocked window between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., the log said.

The victim discovered the break-in after returning home from work, according to the log.
