Television stolen during La Salle Drive break-in, Ann Arbor police say

By Lee Higgins

A television and wallet were stolen Thursday during a break-in a La Salle Drive home, an Ann Arbor police report said.

Police say entry was likely made through an unlocked window in the kitchen between 5:30 p.m. and 9:50 p.m., the report said.

The television was stolen from a front room, while the wallet was taken from a dresser drawer in an upstairs bedroom, according to the report.

The 42-year-old victim reported to police that a man knocked on the door Monday, then a different man knocked on the door Tuesday.

He doesn't know the men, who both asked for people who didn't live at the home, the report said.

The victim had someone he knows check on the house earlier Thursday, but nothing was out of the ordinary, the report said.

It's not your fault you've been brainwashed by the media for years...I'm not saying don't report the incidents A2.com, just leave the jaywalks/break-ins/fender benders in a police and fire report instead of headline worthy news!

How come every break-in constitutes headline worthy news...There are crooks out there - be aware. Newsflash - We live in a college town with a transient population. Sometimes I feel like this sensationalized journalism is like reading the transcripts of a Fox news broadcast.
