Three people robbed at Green Road apartment in Ypsilanti

Three people were robbed at gunpoint Sunday night at an apartment in the 700 block of Green Road, Ypsilanti police said.

Two men, one of whom had a handgun, walked into the unlocked apartment at 7:30 p.m. and forced everyone inside a bedroom, a police news release said.

According to the release, the men stole cash, cell phones and electronic items from a man and two women. The victims were not injured, police said.

One robber was described as black, between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet tall and was wearing a ski mask, black sweatshirt, blue jeans and gray gloves, the release said. Police say the other man was described as black, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and was wearing a black band over the lower portion of his face, black sweatshirt, blue jeans and gray gloves.

Anytime anywhere folks. This includes in your own homes. Locked doors help though, but then again can you doors withstand kicking in? Do you know how to tell or remedy it? It's insanely inexpensive to do so...
