A pretrial hearing has been set for a man accused of robbing a restaurant and gas station in Ann Arbor in April.

Jason Davis, 41, appeared in the Washtenaw County Trial Court Tuesday before Judge Donald Shelton for a hearing during which a jury trial was set for Sept. 24.

The judge also set a motion filing deadline for Aug. 14 and a final pretrial hearing date of Sept. 4.

Davis is accused of robbing an Ann Arbor Denny's restaurant the night of April 14 and the Circle K gas station early the next morning. Police said Davis held up the Denny’s at 3310 Washtenaw Ave. and the Circle K gas station at 1420 E. Stadium Blvd. for small amounts of cash.

Davis remains in the Washtenaw County Jail.
