TV, bottles of alcohol stolen during daytime home invasion

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion in Salem Township during daylight hours Wednesday when multiple items were stolen, including a flat-screen TV and alcohol.

Deputies said an intruder, or intruders, smashed a rear glass door to a home in the 6300 block of Napier Road sometime during the day.

A flat-screen TV, computer, rings, necklaces, watches and bottles of alcohol were reported stolen from the home.

Deputies do not have any suspects at this time. Anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to call the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office anonymous tip line at 734-973-7711.

That burglary took place very near the western border of Wayne County. Until I saw the map provided, I had assumed all of Napier Road separates Washtenaw County from Wayne County. Just the part south of North Territorial Road does.
