Two arrested after deputies seize marijuana during traffic stop in Superior Township

Two people were arrested after Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies recovered 11 baggies of marijuana during a traffic stop Saturday in Superior Township, a sheriff's department incident summary said.
Deputies stopped a car about 10:20 p.m. in the 8800 block of MacArthur Boulevard and recovered the drugs, the summary said.
The two 18-year-old Ypsilanti Township residents also were issued trespassing notices, deputies said.

@cinnabar7071, that amazes me! One, that there is low-life out there willing to break the law using the guise of medical conditions, and Two, the fact that it's so well known...pretty pathetic in my book.

"get a medical card if indeed you HAVE a condition" Doesn't matter weather you HAVE a condition or not. I know more then a few that have cards with no condition, same goes for vicodin. The drug dealers are now wearing white collars.

@MK, then would it not be prudent to just say "small bags"? Isn't "Baggie" a trademark name? Or just put it in terms most people would understand...nickel, dime, etc....and you're right, get a medical card if indeed you HAVE a condition that the herb may alleviate...but that still won't help if you are indeed in possession of amounts used for selling.

I think "Baggies" means it was small amounts in small bags which means it was intended for distribution. MacArthur is a dump and has alot of violence and drugs. I live less then half a mile from there, they really need to clean that place up! Please explain the tresspassing tickets, did they not get ticketed for the herb? by the way... Get your medical card and the cops wont mess with you!!!

.Why were they stopped?I always like to read about the stupid things people engaging in illegal activities do to get stopped.
