Two teenagers arrested for home invasion in Superior Township

By Kyle Feldscher

Two teenagers were arrested in Superior Township for a Friday night home invasion during which they stole electronics and jewelry, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office.

Ephraim Harris, 17, and a 16-year-old boy were arrested in connection with the break-in at a home in the 8800 block of Nottingham. Deputies said a neighbor showed investigators where some of the stolen items were located.

Harris and the other boy were arrested following an investigation into the incident, deputies reported. Harris is being held in the Washtenaw County Jail on a $20,000 bond. The 16-year-old boy’s name is not being released because he is a juvenile, according to police.

Both teenagers are Superior Township residents. The 16-year-old boy will have a court hearing on May 16, according to deputies.

Harris has been charged with first-degree home invasion, according to jail records. He’ll be in court for a pretrial hearing on a different charge at 10 a.m. May 9, records show.

Good throw the book at them. If we don't start making an example of what happens to you when you commit a crime, they will never stop.
