Ypsilanti men charged in two separate robberies in Ann Arbor last month
Ann Arbor police arrested two Ypsilanti men accused of mugging a pizza delivery driver and a pedestrian during separate robberies in January.
Caree McQueen, 19, and Jovon Foster, 21, both of Ypsilanti, were arraigned Saturday and are being held at the Washtenaw County Jail, each on $10,000 cash bond, said Ann Arbor Police Sgt. Brian Jatczak. Each man faces two counts of armed robbery.
The first incident occurred in the 2200 block of South Main Street on Jan. 5. A man armed with a handgun approached a 35-year-old pizza delivery driver, who is an Ann Arbor resident, as he was walking to his vehicle. The robber demanded money and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim, Jatczak said.
The second robbery occurred in the 700 block of Oxford Road on Jan. 18. A 19-year-old Ann Arbor man was walking after being dropped off in the area by a taxi cab. The victim was approached by a man armed with a handgun, who stole his backpack containing a laptop computer, Jatczak said.
In both cases, the robber fled in a vehicle driven by another man. No one was injured in either incident.
Both men are to appear back in court for preliminary hearings on Feb. 23, Jatczak said.

Ahhh...they will find out that when you rob and mug, it isn't play. Now they will pay with time away.
