Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating two daytime break-ins at apartments in an Ypsilanti Township apartment complex on Sunday.

Deputies responded to the 2300 block of Ellsworth Road after a resident returned home to find the front door of the apartment had been broken into earlier that day. While investigating that break-in, deputies discovered another apartment in the same complex had been entered as well, police said.

The second apartment was vacant, according to police.

Nothing was reported stolen from either unit, and police do not know exactly when the incidents occurred, but it’s believed they both occurred sometime in the daytime hours, according to police. There are no suspects at this time.

Anyone with information on these break-ins is encouraged to call the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office anonymous tip line at 734-973-7711.
