Police are trying to identify this woman.

Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies are attempting to identify two women accused of breaking into a car in a Lodi Township neighborhood and using a stolen credit card at several businesses.

Police also warned residents in the Travis Pointe South subdivision to be on the lookout for any suspicious cars and to make sure their own cars are locked.

The theft occurred Oct. 19. Police said the women were in the neighborhood between 3 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. checking for unlocked vehicles.

The surveillance image was taken from a store where the stolen credit card was used. Deputies said the women drove east toward Detroit and stopped at several locations, with the last attempt with the credit card in Dearborn Heights.

The thieves were described only as black women in their early to mid-20s driving a silver four-door Ford vehicle, possibly a Fusion or 500.

Deputies said residents should be particularly mindful of vehicles parked late at night in the street or near the entry or exits to the neighborhood. Police asked people to record license plate numbers of suspicious vehicles and report them to police.

Anyone with information on the woman in the photo or the thefts is asked to call the sheriff's tip line at 734-973-7711.
