Police: Woman arrested after grabbing knife during fight in Ann Arbor
A 42-year-old Ann Arbor woman was arrested after she allegedly attempted to stab fellow partiers following an argument at a home on Packard Street Saturday.
Ann Arbor police Lt. Renee Bush said the assault took place between 7 and 11 p.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of Packard Street. Bush said the woman was arguing with neighbors and friends at the party before getting a knife and beginning the physical confrontation.
A struggle ensued as people attempted to grab the knife away from her, Bush said. A 36-year-old Ann Arbor man and a 35-year-old Ann Arbor man both suffered minor injuries during the struggle.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the fight, Bush reported. The woman was arrested and lodged at the Washtenaw County Jail after police responded to the home and arrested her.
Bush said no charges are being filed against the woman. Washtenaw County prosecutors reviewed the case and were unable to determine if an assault had taken place, she said.

Don't we just know that alcohol or drugs are NEVER a factor at parties?

Bush said no charges are being filed against the woman. So, why print the story? Maybe the two people injured slipped on a banana peel?

I'd say, there's nothing wrong with having a responsible good time at any age. Sounds like things somehow got out of hand here however. This story is very vague and inconclusive though... Was she defending herself or on a drunken rampage?
