Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies are investigating an attempted purse snatching Sunday night in the 2000 block of International Drive in Ypsilanti Township, a sheriff's department media summary said.

According to the summary, a woman was exiting a building at 11 p.m. when a man knocked her to the ground.

Another man attempted to grab her purse, and she started screaming, the summary said. According to the summary, she scared away the two men and another man with them.
